Arsenal have finalised an agreement with Club Brugge to secure the transfer of winger Christos Tzolis.
According to a report by The Athletic, the Gunners will pay €40 million for the Greece international, with the move to the Emirates Stadium now reaching its final stage.
This development comes after Leandro Trossard’s exit, as he has joined Turkish side Besiktas on a permanent transfer.
Despite completing the Tzolis deal, Arsenal are still expected to pursue at least one additional attacking signing during the summer window.
In other transfer news, Tottenham Hotspur have rejected a £38 million bid from Nottingham Forest for midfielder Lucas Bergvall, as reported by The Telegraph.
Nottingham Forest are eager to bring in the 20-year-old as a replacement for Elliot Anderson, and Bergvall is said to be open to the move.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are reportedly preparing to target Crysencio Summerville as a potential replacement for Marcus Rashford, should the latter leave Old Trafford this summer. The Guardian claims that Summerville could be available for around £30 million.
Additionally, Tuttosport reports that Manchester United have shown interest in Roma and France midfielder Manu Kone, who has been valued at approximately €60 million, and the club is considering making a formal offer.
Sassuolo centre-back Tarik Muharemovic is set to undergo a medical with Leeds United ahead of a £34 million switch.
As per Birmingham Live, Aston Villa are closing in on the signing of Joao Gomes from local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers. Meanwhile, Villa full-back Andres Garcia has completed a loan move to Getafe.
Elsewhere, Inter Milan are continuing discussions with Tottenham Hotspur regarding the potential signing of full-back Djed Spence, according to Fabrizio Romano.
