The company’s upcoming electric scooter is built on the new EL platform. This platform has been developed specifically for mass-market electric scooters, providing customers with advanced technology and superior performance at an affordable price.

Many future models will come on this platform
Ather says that the EL platform has been developed after a long period of research and development. It has been developed keeping in mind scalability, better manufacturing efficiency and product flexibility. In the coming years, the company will introduce many of its new electric vehicles on this platform.

The concept was shown in 2025
Ather first introduced the concept model of a scooter based on this platform during Ather Community Day 2025. Now the company is going to launch its production-ready model.

At present, the company has not shared official information to the battery capacity, range and features of the new scooter. However, according to media reports, its starting price could be between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a strong option in the mass-market electric scooter segment.
