Tezzbuzz Desk- Before recharging a mobile, users often compare the price and benefits available. If you use data daily and are looking for a plan with long validity, then a plan from Reliance Jio can prove to be a better option for you. Jio’s Rs 799 plan is Rs 100 cheaper than Airtel’s Rs 899 plan, while many features in both the plans are almost similar.

Both Jio and Airtel companies provide recharge plans to their customers with daily data, unlimited calling and SMS. But in terms of price and additional benefits, Jio’s plan seems to offer more benefits.

These benefits are available in Jio Rs 799 plan

In Reliance Jio’s Rs 799 recharge plan, customers get 84 days validity. Under this plan, 1.5GB high speed data is given every day. That means, during the entire validity, users get a total of 126GB data. Apart from this, the plan also includes the facility of unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS every day. Jio also offers benefits like JioTV and Jio AI Cloud storage with this plan. However, this plan does not include the benefit of unlimited 5G data and OTT subscription. After the daily data limit is exhausted, the internet speed reduces to 64Kbps.

Google Gemini Pro is also getting benefit

The special thing about this plan of Jio is that the company is also offering 18 months subscription of Google Gemini Pro with it. Its price is said to be around Rs 35,100. Under this offer, users can get the benefit of up to 5000GB of Google Cloud storage and AI based features. However, this benefit may be subject to availability and terms for all users.

What is available in Airtel Rs 899 plan?

Airtel’s Rs 899 plan also comes with a validity of 84 days. In this, the facility of 1.5GB data every day, unlimited calling and 100 SMS daily is provided. Apart from this, the benefit of free Hellotune is available once every 30 days in this plan. However, in terms of price, it is Rs 100 more expensive than Jio’s plan.

What is the difference between Jio and Airtel plans?

Data, calling and validity are almost the same in the plans of both the companies. But if we talk about price, Jio’s plan is cheaper by Rs 100. At the same time, additional benefits like Jio AI Cloud and Google Gemini Pro offers may make it more attractive for some users. If your priority is to get more value at a lower price, then Jio’s Rs 799 plan can be a better option. At the same time, for Airtel users, the Rs 899 plan also fulfills the need of daily data and long validity.
