Under the ‘Groundwater Week’ declared by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, an awareness program was organized at IFFCO Phulpur unit with the aim of increasing public awareness towards water conservation and groundwater conservation.
On this occasion, Senior General Manager of IFFCO Phulpur Unit, P.K. Singh, Chief (Maintenance) P.K. Patel, General Manager Shri Ratnesh Kumar, Anil Kumar Gupta, Joint General Manager Santosh Kumar Singh, RP Yadav, Sanjay Kumar, Goyal, and Ashish Kumar, Head (Personnel and Administration) Shambhu Shekhar, heads of departments, officers and a large number of employees were present.
In his address, senior officials said that water conservation is the biggest need of today. He called upon all the employees to use water judiciously in their workplaces and homes, promote rain water harvesting and make the society aware about water conservation.
At the end of the program, all the attendees took a collective pledge to make water conservation a mass movement and conserve groundwater resources for future generations.
