From making a mark in the South film industry to becoming one of Indian cinema 's most recognisable pan-India stars , Rashmika Mandanna believes her career has been shaped by choosing instinct over convention. The actress recently shot for a Crocs' monsoon campaign. The campaign talks about wonderfully ordinary, and while peaking about what she calls her "wonderfully unordinary" journey, she says, "I think moving to a completely new industry, without really fitting into any mould, was my wonderfully unordinary moment. At the time, it felt a little intimidating because ev eryone around me seemed to have a plan, and I was just following my instincts. But looking back, that's what made the journey special. I've realised that the things that make you different are usually your biggest strengths."

For the actor, individuality isn't just a campaign message but something she's learnt through experience. "That's why I connect with the campaign so much. You don't have to fit in to belong, you can simply be yourself."

Rashmika says one of the highlights of the shoot was the collaborative atmosphere on set, where everyone worked towards bringing the creative vision to life. "What I really enjoyed about the shoot was the energy on set. My team and everyone involved came together with so much enthusiasm, and there was this shared excitement about bringing the idea to life. When you have people who genuinely enjoy the process, it reflects in the final output."

While the campaign revolves around everyday style and self-expression, Rashmika says comfort has become an important part of her personal fashion choices. " Crocs have become a part of my everyday life. What I love most is that they combine comfort with self-expression. Whether it's through a silhouette like the Ballet Crocs or personalising them with Jibbitz, there's so much room to make them your own. In this weather, I never step out, without my umbrella and Crocs. The campaign really captures that feeling of being comfortable with who you are, without trying to fit into a certain idea of how you're 'supposed' to enjoy things."
