'Lenin' box office collection day 15: Akhil Akkineni's film drops 18.2%; India net reaches Rs 47.27 Cr

Akhil Akkineni 's 'Lenin' continued its theatrical run on its third Friday with collections witnessing another decline. After completing two weeks in cinemas, the action drama has entered its third week while maintaining a steady presence at the box office.
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film collected an estimated Rs 45 lakhs net in India on Day 15. The latest figure represents an 18.2 per cent decline from the Rs 55 lakhs net earned on the previous day.
India collections cross Rs 47 crore net
With its Day 15 earnings, 'Lenin' has taken its total India net collection to Rs 47.27 crore. The film's India gross collection now stands at Rs 54.21 crore.
The action drama had collected Rs 36.65 crore net during its first week. It added another Rs 10.17 crore net in the second week before entering its third week with reduced but stable collections.
Worldwide total reaches Rs 64.96 crore
Apart from its domestic performance, 'Lenin' has also contributed steady numbers from international markets. The film has earned Rs 10.75 crore gross overseas so far.
Combined with its India gross collections, the film's worldwide gross total has now reached Rs 64.96 crore after 15 days in theatres.
Occupancy remains stable in Telugu markets
On its third Friday, the Telugu version of Lenin recorded an overall occupancy of 15.62 per cent.
Morning shows registered 14.50 per cent occupancy, followed by 13.50 per cent in the afternoon. Evening shows improved slightly to 15.50 per cent, while the night shows recorded 15.10 per cent occupancy.
Cast and story backdrop
'Lenin' is an action drama headlined by Akhil Akkineni, who plays the title character, an orphan raised by a respected village leader. Bhagyashri Borse appears as Bharathi, Lenin's love interest and the daughter of Neelakantham.
The film also features Sivaji Sontineni as the antagonist Yatirajulu, Easwari Rao as Jayanthi, the influential woman who raises Lenin, Pramod Panju as Vasanth, and Sunil Varma as Parthasarathi.
