Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra Mahotsav, organized under the joint aegis of Rihandeshwar Dham Mahadev Temple Committee and Rihand Puja Committee, concluded on Saturday with the sacred Bahuda Yatra of Lord Jagannathji in an atmosphere of reverence, enthusiasm and devotion. In this grand journey from Gundicha Temple (Kalyan Kendra) to Shri Mandir (Rihandeshwar Dham Mahadev Temple), hundreds of devotees pulled the chariots of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Mata Subhadra and earned virtuous benefits.

During the Bahuda Yatra, the devotees reached Rihandeshwar Dham, dancing and singing bhajans, kirtans to the beat of drums and chants. The atmosphere was filled with devotional energy with the deafening shouts of “Jai Jagannath” throughout the route. The devotees were overwhelmed with emotions after seeing and worshiping the Lord.

Temple Committee Vice President G.C. Sahu said that Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra is not just a festival of religious faith, but a great festival giving the message of social harmony, service, love and humanity. Sanjay Asati, the project head and executive director who played the role of king in this event, prayed to Lord Jagannath for the happiness, peace, prosperity and welfare of the country and all the people.

On this occasion Mahila Mandal President Neelu Asati, General Manager Pranay Kumar Nayak, Temple Committee Chairman Yogesh Tripathi, N.S. Koranga, Amit Sikdar, Sunil Baske, R.N. Verma, General Secretary Pramod Dwivedi, Shashank Malviya, Sanjay Kumar, Anil Tripathi, Media Incharge Anant Mohan, BMC President Rakesh Rai, General Secretary S.N. A large number of devotees including readers were present.

At the conclusion of the program, Temple Committee Chairman Yogesh Tripathi and Rihand Puja Committee expressed gratitude to all the devotees, volunteers, media representatives and all those who cooperated directly and indirectly and said that with everyone’s cooperation this religious event was grand, well organized and successfully completed.
