A youth wing non-profit organization of Lions Club , Leo Club Chandigarh Fortune , District 321 F , distributed around 1,000 packets of lassi to daily-wage labourers and roadside workers across the city on Sunday. The drive, titled “Leos Di Gedi”, was the third edition of the initiative. Club members travelled through the city and distributed chilled lassi to people working outdoors during the summer.
The project was led by club president Nipun Bansal and project chairpersons Paras Goyal and Vansh Kamboj. Club adviser Amarjot Singh flagged off the drive, which was carried out by members and volunteers.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members and volunteers, whose collective efforts ensured the successful execution of the distribution drive. The initiative was widely appreciated for its commitment to community welfare and its meaningful support for daily wage earners during the peak summer season.
The volunteers were commended for their dedication, teamwork, and spirit of service, with attendees encouraging them to continue undertaking impactful community service initiatives in the future.
