Watch: Jamie Smith's Monster Six Breaks Lord's Scoreboard in The Hundred 2026
Cricket Gully | August 2, 2026 10:39 PM CST

Jamie Smith created one of The Hundred Men's Competition 2026's memorable moments when he smacked a huge six that directly hit and damaged the scoreboard at Lord's during Southern Brave's chase of London Spirit.

This tremendous shot came on the 15th delivery of the chase. Willey delivered a ball onto Smith's pads and the right-hander did not spare the opportunity. He came down the track and, in the process, executed a perfect shot and elevated the ball beyond the leg side.

When the ball made its way into the crowd, it hit the scoreboard square and broke it visibly. The six was Smith's second maximum of the innings, and she surely became one of the major points of discussion.

Jofra Archer Stars Before Brave's Finish

Before Smith's destructive onslaught, the bowlers of Southern Brave had totally subdued the entire London Spirit at Lord's.

Opting to bowl first, Southern Brave bowled out London Spirit for just 105. In 92 balls. Bairstow scored a fighting 56 in 43 balls, but he was left pretty much to do it all on his own.

Jofra Archer was the most successful, having bowled a brilliant 4-9 off 20 balls. He dismissed Bairstow, Dewald Brevis, David Willey and Andrew Tye to apply consistent pressure on London Spirit.

Marcus Stoinis also found the breakthrough, taking three wickets, with Adil Rashid taking 2. Chris Jordan took one, as Southern Brave's bowlers kept London Spirit's batsmen from putting together partnerships.

Southern Brave just had the 106 to hunt down and always looked to be in a comfortable position, although the obvious drama provided plenty of entertainment. David Miller then finished it off in style with a giant six, handing Southern Brave their second win of the season.

Along with the win, Smith's huge six collided with the Lord's scoreboard, and it became an instant classic of the day as Southern Brave wrapped up another victory.
