Bikapur, Ayodhya. The Bharatiya Jan Samaj Party (BJP) today warned the central government and the Election Commission, demanding that EVMs be immediately phased out and all upcoming elections be conducted using ballot papers to maintain the credibility of democracy in the country. Bharatiya Jan Samaj Party (BJP) National President Brajmohan Singh said: “The future of the country cannot be decided by a machine that the people of the country do not trust. Countries like the US, Germany, and the Netherlands have already rejected EVMs. So what is the reason for imposing them in India? We warn the government: EVMs should be completely phased out. Otherwise, the people of the country will completely lose faith in the electoral system.”

Singh stated that transparency is the soul of democracy. The ballot paper is the only way in which voters can see their own ballots and the counting takes place in front of everyone. He also stated that the law should be equal for everyone in the country. Regardless of whether an organization is registered or not, it must operate within the ambit of the Constitution and the law. A clean image and fair elections are the core principles of the Bharatiya Jan Samaj Party.

The main demands of the Bharatiya Jan Samaj Party:

1. EVMs should be discontinued with immediate effect.

2. All elections in 2027 should be conducted using ballot papers.

3. Complete transparency should be implemented in the funding of all political and social organizations.
