The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the dates, shifts, and timings for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NDA & NA 2) 2026 examination. According to the notification issued by the UPSC, the NDA-NA exam will be conducted on September 13, 2026, at designated centers across the country.

**Check Exam Timings and Shifts by Subject**
The UPSC will conduct the NDA-NA exam in two shifts on September 13. The first shift will be for the Mathematics paper, scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The second shift will cover the General Ability Test, scheduled from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

**When Will Admit Cards Be Released?**
As per the information provided in the UPSC notification, admit cards for the candidates will be made available for download on working days, one week prior to the exam. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards online; hall tickets will not be sent individually to any applicant.

**Exam Pattern**
The NDA-NA examination consists of two papers. The Mathematics paper carries 300 marks, while the General Ability Test paper carries 600 marks, making the total 900 marks. Additionally, 900 marks are allocated separately for the SSB Test/Interview. There is also a provision for negative marking; one-third (0.33) of the marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

**Recruitment for 394 Vacancies**
A total of 394 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. Of these, 208 posts are for the Army and 42 for the Navy under the National Defence Academy. For the Air Force, the vacancies are distributed as follows: (i) Flying – 92, (ii) Ground Duties (Tech) – 18, and (iii) Ground Duties (Non-Tech) – 10. A total of 24 posts will be filled under the Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme).
