According to the Meteorological Department, tomorrow i.e. on August 13, 2026, a red alert of heavy rain, severe thunderstorm and stormy winds has been declared for a total of 16 big states of the country including the capital Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

During this time, there is every possibility of dangerous gusts of strong wind at a speed of about 85 kilometers per hour amidst thunder. Not only this, hail may also fall in certain areas, which may affect life.

According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, the 16 states which will see the maximum impact of heavy rains and storms include the names of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Maharashtra. In these areas, a strong storm moving at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour can destroy everything. Due to this heavy rain, a sudden drop in temperature by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius can be recorded.

A strict alert has been issued for heavy rain and thunderstorm on August 13 in the capital Delhi. Due to this pattern of weather, the maximum temperature in Delhi tomorrow may reach 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to be around 29 degrees Celsius.

Uttar Pradesh

There is a severe alert of heavy rain and thunderstorm in Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Buddha Nagar, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, Kanpur, Jhansi, Bahraich, Gonda, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Mirzapur, Jaunpur, Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Sant Kabirnagar, Sonbhadra and Mau. During this period, strong winds can blow at a speed of 70 kilometers per hour. Whereas in Lucknow tomorrow the maximum temperature can be recorded up to 35 degrees and the minimum temperature can be up to 28 degrees Celsius.

Bihar

Warning of heavy rain and thunderstorm has been issued in Bihar's Gaya, Jehanabad, Patna, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, Begusarai, Saran, Vaishali, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Saharsa, Supaul, Purnia, Kishanganj, Katihar, Khagaria and Munger. There will be a strong storm here at a speed of 60 kilometers per hour, while the maximum temperature in Patna is expected to be 34 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 28 degrees Celsius.

Jharkhand

There is a strong possibility of heavy rain and strong thunderstorm in Sahebganj, Dumka, Jamtara, Jamshedpur, Seraikela, Khunti, Gumla, Ranchi, Palamu, Ramgarh and Chatra districts of Jharkhand. The wind speed here can be 50 to 60 km per hour, and the maximum temperature in Ranchi can go up to 28 degrees and minimum 23 degrees Celsius.

Uttarakhand

There is an alert of heavy rain and severe thunderstorm on 13 and 14 August in the hill state of Uttarakhand. Stormy winds will blow at a speed of 70 to 80 kilometers per hour in Bageshwar, Nainital, Rudraprayag, Almora, Udham Singh Nagar, Haridwar, Pauri Garhwal and Rishikesh. Himachal Pradesh

There is an alert of storm with heavy rain in Kullu, Mandi, Chamba, Solan, Kangra, Bilaspur, Sirmaur, Kinnaur, Lahaul Spiti and Una of Himachal. In Manali tomorrow the maximum temperature can be recorded up to 18 degrees and minimum 11 degrees Celsius.

Jammu and Kashmir

Doda, Rajouri, Poonch, Baramulla, Kathua, Anantnag, Samba and Kishtwar of Jammu and Kashmir may get wind speed up to 60 kilometers per hour with warning of heavy rain. The maximum temperature in Srinagar will be 31 degrees and the minimum will be 19 degrees Celsius.

west bengal

There is a red alert of storm and heavy rain with a speed of 70 km per hour in Durgapur, Howrah, Kolkata, Malda, Hooghly, Darjeeling, Nadia, North 24 Parganas, Jalpaiguri and Murshidabad in West Bengal. The maximum temperature in Kolkata will be 30 degrees and minimum 27 degrees Celsius.

Punjab

Warning of heavy rain and storm has been issued in Punjab's Pathankot, Patiala, Gurdaspur, Chandigarh, Barnala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Moga and Hoshiarpur, where winds can reach up to 65 kilometers per hour.

Rajasthan

There is an alert of heavy rain and thunderstorm in Udaipur, Pali, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Sirohi, Kota, Baran and Tonk of Rajasthan. The maximum temperature in Jaipur is expected to be 33 degrees and minimum 26 degrees Celsius.

Madhya Pradesh

There is a warning of strong storm and heavy rain with a speed of 60 km per hour in Bhopal, Indore, Khandwa, Guna, Morena, Sheopur, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dewas, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Shahdol, Satna, Umaria, Sidhi, Anuppur and Panna of Madhya Pradesh. The maximum temperature in Bhopal will be 28 degrees and the minimum will be 24 degrees Celsius.
