Lamborghini marks the Miura’s 60th anniversary with 99 special Revuelto models

Lamborghini’s story may have begun with tractors, but one of the defining highlights of its early years was the Miura. As the first model in what became a long, uninterrupted line of V-12 supercars, it helped establish the company as a serious force in the performance car world and shaped the identity of what a Lamborghini would become in the years ahead. In 2026, the Miura completes 60 years since its debut, and the brand is marking the occasion with a special edition of its modern-day successor.

The new model, which was first rumoured back in April, is called the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage. However, this limited-production supercar does not diverge from the standard Revuelto nearly as much as the Countach LPI 800-4 did from the closely related Aventador. Instead, this batch of Revueltos follows the approach seen on the Miura’s 50th anniversary Aventador tribute, with the limited edition distinguished largely by subtler styling references inspired by its predecessor.

Lamborghini is presenting nine possible specifications for the anniversary Revuelto, and two of them wear two-tone tribute paint schemes. All nine versions feature an edition-specific badge on the sills and a distinctive gloss black logo at the rear. In the case of the black two-tone version, gold detailing is combined with eye-catching gold wheels.

Although the company has not revealed the cabin of the special edition in the images released today, it says the seats carry a fresh interpretation of the classic seat pattern seen in the original Miura. Extended leather trim also continues across the central transmission tunnel, the door panels and the rear bulkhead in front of the firewall.

Even though Lamborghini is currently showcasing only nine original Miura-inspired specifications on the collectible Revuelto, the company says it will work with owners of original Miuras finished in other colours to match their new hybrid supercar with their existing icon. That said, the announcement only confirms plans to replicate original colours, so anyone hoping both cars could receive matching resprays may be left disappointed.

Lamborghini intends to produce only 99 examples of the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage. Buyers wanting to see the new special edition in person will be able to catch its debut at Lamborghini’s lounge during Monterey Car Week, which is certainly an appropriate venue for a likely Miura-edition Revuelto customer.
