Manchester United Women have had a hectic off-season so far.

The club have sold or released a number of senior players, including star forward Melvine Malard.

The Red Devils have also added two new faces to the squad: German goalkeeper Janina Leitzig and Spanish full-back Andrea Medina. Even so, the most significant change has been in the dugout, with Marc Skinner leaving and Eva Olid taking charge as the team’s new head coach.

United played out a behind-closed-doors friendly draw with Leicester City, and have now travelled to Spain for a pre-season training camp, where they are also set to face Newcastle United.

The squad left England on Friday, and this is the group that has travelled.

New arrival Leitzig has made the trip along with first-choice goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce.

Young goalkeeper Evie Mitchell is the third stopper included in the travelling party.

At the back, Dominique Janssen, Maya Le Tissier, Anna Sandberg and Jayde Riviere are among the experienced options in the squad.

Fellow new signing Medina is also part of the group, alongside younger players Scarlett Hill, Lucy Newell and Jess Simpson.

In midfield, the senior choices are Hinata Miyazawa, Jess Park, Ella Toone and Julia Zigiotti.

One of the reasons Olid was appointed was her ability to develop young players, and Jessica Anderson and Simi Awujo are included in the group as well.

In attack, Elisabeth Terland, Fridolina Rolfo and Lea Schuller are joined by promising youngsters Ellen Wangerheim and Lucy Newell.
