UPSSSC Junior Assistant Result 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the final selection results for the recruitment process associated with the Junior Assistant Main Examination-2021. The Commission issued a formal notification regarding this on August 21, 2026.

A total of 50 candidates have been finally selected against the revised 54 vacancies. The Commission approved the results and the corresponding cut-off marks for the selected candidates based on merit, following the written examination, typing test, eligibility check, and document verification.

**Why did four posts remain vacant?**
According to the Commission's notice, suitable candidates could not be found for two Scheduled Caste (SC) posts and two Scheduled Tribe (ST) posts under the vertical reservation quota.

Consequently, no selections could be made for these four posts during this recruitment drive. Candidates have been selected for all designated posts in the remaining categories.

**How ​​did the number of posts decrease from 62 to 54?**
This recruitment was initially announced for 62 posts. Online applications were invited, with the deadline set for January 8, 2023.

Subsequently, revised details were received from the requisitioning department. Based on this, the Commission revised the vacancy count on July 26, 2024. Following this, the category-wise and horizontal reservation details for the 54 posts were released. In other words, the number of vacancies was reduced by 8—from the initially announced 62 to 54.
