The Premier League is back, and with it comes a fresh set of strips for the 2026/27 season. We have picked out five of the standout away kits on show this campaign.

Here are our top five shirts, listed in no particular order.

Adidas rarely get it wrong with Arsenal kits. The yellow and red detailing works brilliantly against the dark blue base, while the understated chevron pattern adds an extra touch of class.

Another excellent blue design from Adidas, with the red stripes sitting neatly across the top of the sleeves. The retro-style collar and cuffs also add plenty of charm.

Much like Manchester United’s shirt, Adidas have opted for a clean yet attractive look for Leeds United’s away kit. The old club crest — which arguably should never have been changed — is a superb inclusion.

Umbro have done an outstanding job with Ipswich Town this season, especially after their home shirt also made our list of the best home kits. The British brand can at times be accused of overcomplicating things, but this more restrained approach has worked beautifully. It drops a point because of the overlapping collar, but the red and black stripes over a light cream base look magnificent.

And yes, it is that company again, once more proving that simplicity can be highly effective. Shirt manufacturers often come up with all sorts of elaborate inspirations for their designs, but this one is wonderfully straightforward. Nottingham Forest’s away shirt is deep green because forests are, of course, green. The background pattern is made up of leaves, which you also happen to find on trees in forests. Very good indeed.
