Scoring with a backheel is special. Doing it first-time is special. Finding the top corner is special. Now imagine combining all three in one goal.
Bristol City forward Dom Ballard managed exactly that in a 2-2 draw against Birmingham in the EFL Championship.
So, is it good enough to be in the running for the Puskas Award, which is given to the best goal of the year?
The EFL Championship is now into its second round.
After Saturday’s (22) 2-2 draw, Dom Ballard’s Bristol City earned their first point of the campaign and climbed to 19th place in the 24-team table.
Birmingham sit 13th with two points. Only the top two sides secure automatic promotion to the Premier League.
