Aadhaar app is designed on the principle of 'Show, Share and Verify'. This allows citizens to have more control over the use of their Aadhaar information. Along with the expansion of the Aadhaar app, the facility of secure offline verification of Aadhaar has also been enhanced. Since January, UIDAI has linked more than 200 organizations to its system as 'Offline Verified Entities' or OVSEs. These organizations will be able to verify identity using documents with secure digital signatures.
