A three-year-old girl in Beed city's Dhande Nagar was severely injured in a stray dog attack, requiring twelve stitches. This incident, along with other recent attacks in the city, has heightened residents' fears and led to demands for the municipal government to take immediate action to ensure public safety.
The stray dog menace in Beed city has raised fresh concerns over the safety of children and residents after a three-year-old girl was attacked while playing outside her home. The incident happened in the Dhande Nagar neighbourhood of Shivtej Nagar. The girl, Shivanshi Rameshwar Gholap, needed twelve stitches after suffering severe facial injuries. At the moment, Shivanshi is receiving medical care at Janai Hospital in the Nagar Naka region.
Residents are in a panic as a result of the assault, and parents are concerned about letting their kids play outside given the growing incidence of stray dog attacks.
A similar event occurred on Dhanor Road last month, when a little girl was attacked by a group of stray dogs as she was standing at her home's entrance. She was pulled onto the road by the dogs.
When the attack's CCTV evidence eventually came to light, the people were extremely irate at how the local government was addressing the stray dog issue. Last week, there were other incidents in Beed's Mominpura Peth neighbourhood, when stray dogs attacked a number of locals.
The municipal government's attempts to manage the number of stray dogs have once again come under scrutiny following the most recent incident in Dhande Nagar. Residents are doubting the steps authorities are taking to stop such assaults and are calling for swift action.
They have demanded action to reduce the threat posed by stray dogs and guarantee the safety of children, students, and other city dwellers.
