BPSC Auditor Result 2026: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the preliminary exam results for the Auditor (Bihar Panchayat Audit Service) recruitment under the Panchayati Raj Department. BPSC Auditor Result 2026: Number of Successful Candidates
According to the notification issued by the BPSC, the preliminary exam for Auditor posts was held on July 5, 2026. A total of 10,856 candidates appeared for this exam. Based on the combined merit list prepared using marks obtained in the General Studies subject, the Commission has declared a total of 1,248 candidates successful for the Main examination.
This includes 702 candidates from the Unreserved category, 138 from EWS, 148 from SC, 105 from the Extremely Backward Class (EBC), 105 from the Backward Class (BC), and 39 from the Backward Class Women (BCL) category.
Under the horizontal reservation quota for differently-abled candidates, 10 Visually Impaired (VI), 8 Deaf-Mute (DD), 11 Orthopedically Handicapped (OH), and 6 Multiple Disability/Mental Disorder (MD) candidates have also succeeded. Additionally, 20 candidates belonging to the category of grandchildren of Bihar's freedom fighters are included in the list of successful candidates.
BPSC Auditor Result 2026: What is the Cut-off?
The cut-off for the Unreserved (UR) category stood at 92 marks, while the cut-off for the Unreserved (Female) category was set at 85 marks. The cut-off for the EWS category was 88 marks, while for the EWS female category, it was 81 marks. The cut-off was set at 78 marks for the Scheduled Caste (SC) category and 66 marks for the SC female category. Meanwhile, the cut-off for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates stood at 72 marks.
The Commission has stated that the marksheets of all candidates who appeared for the examination will soon be made available via their login IDs. Candidates are advised to regularly check the Commission's official website for further updates.
