Suriawan (Bhadohi): A 40-year-old man riding a bike died in a tragic road accident on Tuesday night near Vihiyapur village of the police station area. A speeding four-wheeler hit the bike, leading to this accident. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case under relevant sections and started action.
According to the information, Bholu Prasad (40 years old), son of Chandrabali, resident of Patti Bejav, was going towards Janpur Road station on his bike (UP62CK6862) at around 8:15 pm on Tuesday night. As soon as he reached near Vihiyapur village, the driver of a speeding four-wheeler (UP70EW8686) coming from Chhanaura, while driving carelessly, hit his bike directly.
After the accident, the deceased's father Chandrabali and younger brother Neeraj, who were coming on another bike, reached the spot, but the accused driver left his car and fled from the spot. The family members hurriedly took Bholu Prasad to the Community Health Center (CHC) Suriyawan, where the doctors declared him dead.
Regarding the incident, Suriyawan police has registered FIR number 0287/2026 on the written complaint of the deceased's father Chandrabali. Police have registered a case against the accused driver under sections 106(1) and 281 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). The case was investigated by Sub Inspector Mohd. Shakeel Khan has been handed over.
