The plane landed safely at Lucknow airport at 8:52 am. A total of 155 passengers and crew members were on board the flight and thankfully all are reported to be safe. After landing, the airport’s emergency response team immediately started inspecting the plane. However, no smoke was found on the plane during the investigation.
Cautionary landing due to smoke signal in rear cargo compartment
According to information, Air India Express flight IX 1253 departed from Varanasi to Delhi. Smoke plumes were reported to be seen in the rear cargo compartment of the aircraft during the journey. Emergency team inspected the plane

155 passengers and crew members completely safe
A total of 155 passengers and crew members were on board the flight. The biggest relief is that all the people on board the plane are safe and no casualties or injuries have been reported in the incident. After a safe landing in Lucknow, the process of evacuating the passengers from the aircraft started at 9:02 am. Passengers were evacuated from the aircraft in the presence of emergency teams. The sudden emergency landing must have naturally caused anxiety among the passengers, but there was great relief when the plane landed safely. Security and emergency teams at the airport monitored the situation. At present safety of all passengers has been ensured.
