Women's Asia Cup 2026: India reached semi-finals after defeating Hong Kong by 137 runs

New Delhi, 04 September 2026: In the seventh match of 'Women's Asia Cup 2026', India won against Hong Kong (China) by 137 runs. With this victory, the Indian women's cricket team has confirmed its place in the semi-finals.

After losing the toss at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the Indian team came to bat and scored 193 runs for the loss of 5 wickets with the help of opener Smriti Mandhana's century. Mandhana, along with other opener Shefali Verma, registered a partnership of 74 runs in 48 balls.

In reply, the Chinese team was all out for just 56 runs in 16.2 overs. Retaining the top position, India will play its final group match against Pakistan on September 5. On the other hand, Pakistan is in second place after winning its opening match.
