Technology Desk: Xiaomi has launched its new tablet series in China. The company has launched Xiaomi Pad 9 and Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro in the market. Both tablets feature a 3.2K display, an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz, and a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits.

In terms of performance also, the company has given different processors in both the models. The Pad 9 has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, while the Pad 9 Pro has a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Both tablets work on HyperOS 4.

Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro has also been launched in multiple RAM and storage options.

8GB + 128GB: CNY 3,799 (about ₹54,000)
8GB + 256GB: CNY 4,099 (about ₹58,500)
12GB + 256GB: CNY 4,599 (about ₹65,600)
16GB + 256GB: CNY 4,999 (about ₹71,300)

At present, the company has announced the price of both the tablets in China. Information regarding their launch in India has not been revealed yet.

What is special in Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro?

Pad 9 Pro has a 12.5 inch 3.2K display. Its refresh rate is up to 144Hz and the peak brightness of the screen goes up to 1,000 nits.

For performance, it has Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor.

The 12GB and 16GB RAM models come with LPDDR5T RAM with a speed of 9,600Mbps, while the 8GB variant comes with LPDDR5X RAM.

Talking about storage, the 128GB model has UFS 3.1 storage, while the other variants have faster UFS 4.1 storage.

11,000mAh battery and 67W charging

Pad 9 Pro has a large battery of 11,000mAh. It supports 67W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging.

According to Xiaomi, the tablet can provide up to 14.5 hours of short video playback and up to 20 hours of online meeting backup.

The standard Xiaomi Pad 9 has an 11.2-inch 3.2K display. It also has a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits.

Talking about the battery, it has a 9,720mAh battery, which supports 45W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging.

The company claims that Pad 9 can also play short videos for about 14.5 hours and online meetings for up to 20 hours.

Overall, Xiaomi has focused on a large high-refresh-rate screen, powerful processor and large battery in the Pad 9 series. Now it remains to be seen when the company launches these two tablets in India and what is their price here.
