Now, Meta’s WhatsApp has officially rolled out the new colour scheme for the instant messaging app.

For iPhone users, everything from the status bar to the chat window is now green instead of blue. Even links shared in chats appear in green rather than blue. Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp, made this makeover to revamp the app's look and feel, encompassing spacing, colours, icons, and more.

The update impacts both iOS and Android users, with Android users experiencing a shift in the shade of green. Even links shared within the app have transitioned to green, marking a significant departure from the previous blue aesthetic.

Beyond the colour change, WhatsApp has implemented subtle updates aimed at improving user experience. Notably, adjustments to the dark mode offer a darker interface for reduced eye strain in low-light environments.

What Else Is New?

1. The pictures and symbols in the messaging app now look different. They are rounder and outlined. WhatsApp also added animation and changed the background in chats.

2. WhatsApp made it easier to move around the app. On Android phones, there's a new menu at the bottom, so you can find things faster. Sending photos and videos on iPhones is now easier too.

3. WhatsApp now helps you organize your messages better. You can use filters to find important chats quickly, like unread messages or group chats. This makes it simpler to keep up with conversations.
