Users of WhatsApp may now try a new conversation filter. Testers registered in the Google Play Beta program may now use the under testing functionality. For faster access, users may add and filter their favorite conversations.

Furthermore, the instant messaging software offers group filtering and unread messages.
WABetaInfo noticed that the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.12.7 has a favorite conversation filter. With the new functionality, users may utilize a new filter to organize their favorite talks. It is intended to assist folks who are inundated with communications from a variety of sources and struggle to locate their usual connections. While the platform does already include the ability to pin chats, it currently allows for a limit of three pinned conversations.

Four additional filters are visible at the top of the screen, behind the WhatsApp logo, according to the picture that WEBataInfo posted. It is said that the “All,” “Unread,” and “Groups” filters were implemented earlier. It is now possible to view a fourth “Favourites” filter.

“Make it easy to find the people and groups that matter most across WhatsApp,” reads the feature description. The “Add to Favorites” button at the bottom lets users manually add contacts to this list. Additionally, users may rearrange and delete conversations based on their preferences, according to WABetaInfo. Although not every beta tester will see the feature right now since it is still in testing, it should become visible over the course of the next several days.

In the meanwhile, AI is developing quickly in the IT sector. Additionally joining the AI fray, WhatsApp is developing new AI capabilities for its platform. It has been reported that WhatsApp is working on an additional AI function for its beta version, which will soon be available to all users. Users will be able to create custom AI-generated photos using this new functionality. Based on Meta’s extensive language model, the ‘Imagine’ function is now undergoing testing and will allow users to freely create graphics from words.
