Popular messaging platform WhatsApp frequently ends app support for older smartphones to improve its services for newer devices.
The Meta-owned platform has once again announced the end of app support for around 35 Android and iOS devices. The list of these devices includes phones from Samsung, Apple, Motorola, Sony, LG and Huawei.
Meta's service has given its users time to back up their chat history so that their old chats can be transferred to the new device. To continue using WhatsApp, these users will now have to upgrade their smartphones. This means that these users have no other option but to replace their existing phone.
