India and Canada ties took a plunge over Canadian PM Trudeau alleged Indian government’s involvement in killing of Nijjar. On October 14, Canada expelled six Indian diplomats to which India has also announced its decision to expel six Canadian diplomats. India and Canada remain locked in a war of words over killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Nijjar in 2023 in Surrey. Sharing a meme with Indian movie clip, RT media highlighted Trudeau dancing to tunes of Khalistani extremists for votes.
