Amazon Layoffs: Amazon started a large -scale job cut in AWS Cloud Computing Division

Amazon layoffs: Technical giant Amazon on Thursday took at least hundreds of employees with its Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Computing Department. Although the exact number of pruning has not been disclosed, the step is a sign of another series of trimmed in the company. The move is taken about a month after CEO Andy Jessi’s statement that he said that the increasing use of generative AI tools can cause jobs to be cut.

An Amazon spokesperson confirmed the development, saying, “We have taken a difficult commercial decision to abolish certain positions in some special teams of AWS,” and further said: “These decisions are necessary because we continue to admit investment, appointment and resources to provide innovations to our customers.”

By the end of March, Amazon had around 1.6 million employees worldwide. The company is now part of the growing group of technical companies such as Microsoft, Meta and Crowdastrik, which has announced sorting this year. Many companies are now using artificial intelligence (AI) to write codes for their software and help to handle everyday tasks, so that the cost can be reduced and low dependence on human workers.

The development occurred exactly one month after Amazon reducing the number of employees in its book business, including the Goodlide review forums and kindle operations. Earlier, the company’s equipment and service division, its Wonder Podcast unit and retail store and corporate communication employees were cut.
