The Maharashtra government's 'Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana' provides financial support to millions of women in the state. Under this scheme, ₹1,500 is sent directly to the bank accounts of women aged 21 to 65 every month. But if you're eligible for this scheme and want to keep receiving this money every month, complete your e-KYC immediately. Otherwise, your money could be stuck.
E-KYC has become mandatory
Recently, the government issued an order stating that every woman benefiting from the Chief Minister's Ladki Bahin Yojana must now complete her e-KYC. This process must be completed within the next two months, otherwise the monthly ₹1,500 credit to her bank account may be suspended. The government has also clarified that this process will now have to be repeated annually.
