Private jet fell on the ground after take-off in Farrukhabad, SBI head Sumit Sharma and MD Ajay Arora were on board the plane.

Kanpur. A major accident was averted in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh when a private jet fell on the take-off ground and entered the bushes. The nose of the jet was damaged. At the time of the accident, SBI head Sumit Sharma, Woodpecker Green Angry Nutri Pads Pvt Ltd MD Ajay Arora and businessman Rakesh Tiku were on board the jet.

A private jet was ready to go to Bhopal on Thursday morning at the airstrip of Mohammadabad Kotwali area in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh. As the jet started to take off from the runway, its pilot lost control and entered the bushes. The front part of the jet hit the wall on the side of the runway. The collision with the wall was so severe that the front part of the nose of the jet was damaged. It was fortunate that the fuel tank was not damaged. If the fuel tank was damaged, the private jet could have exploded and caught fire. Everyone on board the plane is safe. In time, Ajay Arora, Sumit Sharma, Rakesh Tiku, pilot Captain Naseeb Wamal and Payal Prateek Fernandez aboard the plane were taken out safely.

As soon as information about the incident was received, there was panic among the administrative officials. Police and administrative teams immediately reached the spot and started investigation. Preliminary investigation has revealed that either there was a technical glitch or the condition of the runway could have been the reason for this accident. Administrative officials said that the exact reasons would be revealed only after a detailed investigation. Farrukhabad police has informed the higher authorities about the plane crash. The concerned departments have been instructed to check the condition of the aircraft, take-off procedure and runway condition.
