The government provides subsidies to every family that uses LPG gas cylinders. Let's explore the reasons why some people don't receive the subsidy and how to check it.
To financially support poor families, the government provides subsidies on gas cylinders. Those who cook with LPG and use gas cylinders can benefit from this. They need to complete a few simple steps, and the subsidy will be credited. This amount is credited to their bank accounts through DBT.
However, many people complain that they are not receiving the subsidy despite using the cylinder. So, let's explore the reasons why LPG subsidies have been stopped.
In fact, the most common reason for LPG subsidies to be stopped is the lack of LPG-Aadhaar linkage, meaning your Aadhaar card is not linked to the LPG cylinder. Therefore, you are not receiving the subsidy.
In such a situation, you can check from home whether your subsidy amount has been received or not. To do this, you need to visit www.mylpg.in.
Then select your gas cylinder service. Your gas cylinder service provider's page will open.
Now register as a new user, create an ID and password, and log in to your account. A new page will open.
On this page, click on View Cylinder Booking History on the right-hand side. Here, you can easily see how much subsidy has been sent to you for each cylinder.
If you haven't received your subsidy, you can file a complaint by going to the feedback option. Alternatively, you can also call their helpline number.
