New Delhi: It is soon going to be easier to update the mobile number associated with Aadhaar. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has already stated that it offers a new feature that allows the residents to complete the process at home with OTP verification and face authentication. This implies that there will be no more long queues in Aadhaar centres since the update can be made in its entirety by the Aadhaar app on the Android and iOS platforms.

Early adopters already have the feature rolling out and can also provide feedback to UIDAI to make the feature better. The relocation helps in the Digital India endeavour and to enable greater convenience to the users and safeguard their data.
