New Delhi: The Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee has finally unveiled Indias T20I squad for the South Africa series today (December 3). Shubman Gill who has recovered from a neck injury returns as the vice-captain after missing the second Test and the ODI series. Hardik Pandya also makes a comeback having demonstrated his fitness in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Indias preparations for the upcoming T20  World  Cup 2026 are in full swing. Hardik Pandya spent several weeks training at the BCCI Centre of Excellence before returning to action in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy where he smashed an unbeaten 77 off just 42 deliveries. The top order remains steady. Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill will open the innings a pairing the management trusts to bring both intent and consistency. Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav add versatility at No. 3 and 4 ready to adapt based on the games demands.
