Actress Ahaana Krishna recently took her fans back to the year 2016 by sharing old diary notes and pictures. It was not the best year of her life as she clearly said. Life today is much more comfortable and secure.

Still 2016 holds a very special place in her heart. That year marked many first moments that shaped the person she is today. While going through her hard disk to find old memories, Ahaana said she felt only gratitude . She felt thankful because many dreams she had back then are now real. Looking back did not make her sad. It made her feel happy and full inside.

Her note read, "2016 Definitely not the best year or anything cuz life is way better and way more comfortable today ( touch wood ). But this was a year that marked a few important firsts. There is a first time to everything and a lot of the things I enjoy abundantly today had its first time in 2016. As I look back I see our faces and hearts with so many hopes and dreams. So all through last week while hunting my hard disk for these moments, all I could feel was tonnes of gratitude. So much that we wished for in 2016 is actually present in our life today and I’m very very very grateful. They say never look back. But why not - if this is what it could leave you feeling like! #2016Memories."

New friends and strong bonds Ahaana also spoke about the people who became part of her life during that time. She remembered the excitement of first meeting Nimish Ravi who later became a well-known cinematographer. She shared pictures with him and also with screenwriter Faheem Safar. These friendships started in simple ways but grew strong with time. For Ahaana these people were not just colleagues. They were friends who shared hopes, struggles, and dreams together. She looked back at those days with a soft smile and a thankful heart.
