In July 2025, a video featuring Prem Baisa and a man circulated widely on social media and was misrepresented as obscene. She filed a police complaint stating that the man was her father and that the footage dated back to 2021, a period when she was reportedly dealing with depression. Police later arrested four individuals, including a sound system installer, her former driver, and two others.

Allegations of Extortion and Image Damage

According to the complaint, the accused allegedly obtained the footage from a CCTV system at her residence and demanded a large sum of money, threatening to release the video publicly. When she refused, the video was allegedly altered and circulated. At the time, police officials stated that the act was intended to damage her reputation.
