Homebound actor Ishaan Khatter has hit a major milestone in his life. The actor has invested in a luxury property in Mumbai, acquiring a high-end flat in the posh Pali Hill area of Bandra. Pali Hill area of Bandra is known for its serenity and celebrity residents, making it one of the costliest and most sought-after residential areas in the city.

According to the property documents checked by the real estate analytics company CRE Matrix, Ishaan got the apartment at 29.37 crores. The flat is in Navroz Apartments, which is a part of Navroz Premises Co-operative Housing Society. The deal was registered not long ago, and the property’s seller was Kapi M. Mahtani.
The apartment has a built-up area of 3, 000 square feet, giving a feeling of plenty of space, at least when compared with other houses in Mumbai. Considering the price point, the unit works out to be nearly 98, 000 per square foot. Besides the price of the apartment, Ishaan had to fork out close to 1.76 crore as stamp duty and registration fees.
This buy is quite significant for Ishaan, even though he is a star kid; the actor has, on several occasions, revealed that his childhood was not cushioned with financial security. Coming from a family of actors, the child was brought up in at least 17 different rented houses, which meant a lot of upheaval and change for the young Ishaan.
In fact, he has given the number 17 different homes, to say that by the time he was 16, Ishaan had already changed houses 17 times.
He said that in those days, struggling to get even a half-decent home was the norm, and thus, owing to constant shifting, had become a way of life. He even explained the lack of stability in his life as typical of the everyday struggles in Mumbai, where people had to move from one place to another more often than not.

He said that his mother, Neelima Azeem, went out of her way to work wherever possible so that she could provide for the family and help them get through that difficult time.
Ishaan has always described his upbringing as middle-class despite the difficulties. Going to school overseas or having a luxurious lifestyle was never the idea. Instead, he stayed focused on finding the right doors and taking one step at a time.
