Tehran/New Delhi. The ongoing fierce war in the Middle East is now taking the form of a natural disaster. The rapid attacks by Israel on Iran’s major oil bases on Sunday have caused devastation in Tehran and surrounding areas. After these attacks, due to the massive fire in the oil depot, such an empire of black smoke has spread over the entire city that there is darkness even in the afternoon. The most frightening thing is that now poisonous particles of oil along with smoke are falling from the sky like rain, causing a serious health crisis for the population of one crore.
Sky turns black in Tehran, oil particles raining
Israeli missiles hit the area northeast of Tehran Aghdaseh Oil Depot And Shahran Oil Depot Including four major centers have been targeted. The miles high smoke rising after these explosions has polluted the atmosphere so much that oil particles are floating in the air. According to local people, a thick layer of black oil has accumulated on roads, buildings and parked vehicles. The Red Crescent Society has warned that this ‘oil rain’ can cause skin allergies and serious respiratory diseases.
Administration’s warning: Going out without a mask is fatal
The Governor of Tehran has declared a state of emergency and strictly instructed citizens to stay indoors. The administration has said that the air quality has fallen below the ‘hazardous’ level. It has been made mandatory to wear N-95 masks when going out. According to government media ‘FARS’, four drivers of oil tankers have also died in these attacks. The fire brigade has failed to control the fire even after hours of efforts, because due to the storage of oil, the flames are not stopping.
Israel’s clarification: ‘Iranian army’s lifeline cut’
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed these attacks and termed them as strategic actions. Israel claims that these depots were being used by the Iranian Army (IRGC) for its military activities and logistics supplies. Israel has given a clear message that by destroying Iran’s energy power, it will destroy its war fighting ability.

Israel’s actions are not limited to Iran alone. The Israeli Air Force has also carried out heavy bombing in Lebanon. According to the latest data, so far these attacks 394 people have lost their livesincluding 83 innocent children.
