NAIO was a two-stage challenge: first a multiple-choice exam, then a mentored project round with real-world themes like healthcare, finance, and sustainability.
The top 250 finalists got to present their projects to expert juries.
Students from more than 680 schools, 460 colleges, and hundreds of organizations took part.
Winners were crowned across three categories: Foundation (split into Grades 6-8 and Grades 9-12), Advanced, and Professional.
Shoutout to Piyansh Kaarthik (Foundation), Charu Singhania (Foundation — Grades 9-12), Priyanshi Rai (Advanced), and K Naga Samanvitha (Professional) for clinching first place in their groups.
The NAIO is a great way to test your AI skills, and there are cool prizes like laptops and tablets up for grabs.
Registration for NAIO 2026 is open; exams are on August 8-9.
