Xiaomi 17 Series: Launched in India

Chinese tech company Xiaomi has officially introduced its new flagship smartphones, **Xiaomi 17** and **Xiaomi 17 Ultra**, in India. Both these models include special features, advanced cameras and larger batteries. Through this launch, Xiaomi aims to strengthen its position in the premium smartphone segment in India.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra price and launch offers

price: Xiaomi 17 Ultra has been launched in a sole 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant, which has been priced at Rs 1,39,999.

Launch Offer: For early customers, the company is offering a special **Photography Kit Pro** free, worth Rs 19,999. Additionally, if customers pay through SBI Bank credit or debit cards, they will get an additional discount of up to Rs 10,000. And, several digital subscriptions are also provided free, including:

• Spotify Premium Standard – 4 months
• YouTube Premium – 3 months
• Google AI Pro – 3 months
• Jio users will also get telecom benefits of up to Rs 16,000.

Xiaomi 17 price and launch offers

Xiaomi 17 has been launched in India in two storage variants:

• 12GB + 256GB – Rs 89,999
• 12GB + 512GB – Rs 99,999

The company has made an early bird offer for this model, in which customers will be able to buy the 512GB variant at the price of 256GB. Additionally, a phone damage protection plan worth Rs 9,999 is also being provided free.

Xiaomi 17 Series sale date

The sale of Xiaomi 17 Series will start from March 18. Customers can buy these smartphones from Xiaomi’s official website, Amazon India, and Xiaomi’s retail stores.

Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra: Display

The Xiaomi 17 sports a 6.3-inch **CrystalRes OLED** display, while the 17 Ultra sports a 6.9-inch **HyperRGB OLED** screen. The displays on both models support 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate and offer a peak brightness of up to 3500 nits.

Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra: Camera

For photography, both the Collaboration models include a triple camera setup, but the 17 Ultra has a more advanced setup. The back panel of Xiaomi 17 has a 50MP primary camera, 50MP telephoto lens and 50MP ultra-wide sensor. Whereas, 17 Ultra has a 50MP main sensor, 200MP telephoto camera and 50MP ultra-wide lens. Both smartphones also have a 50MP front camera.

Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra: processor and software

Both models include the **Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5** processor, which is designed to deliver fast speeds, great graphics, and great power efficiency. These smartphones work on **Xiaomi HyperOS 3** based on **Android 16**, which offers smooth performance and better customization. These phones also have LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage support.

Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra: battery and cooling system

In terms of efficiency, Xiaomi 17 is equipped with a 6330mAh battery, which supports 100W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Xiaomi 17 Ultra, on the other hand, has a 6000mAh battery, which supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. Additionally, Xiaomi has also included an advanced cooling system in both the smartphones. The Xiaomi 17 has 3D IceLoop cooling and the 17 Ultra has a dual-channel IceLoop cooling system.

Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra: Connectivity features

In terms of connectivity, both the smartphones feature **Wi-Fi 7**, **Bluetooth 6.0**, and **NFC**. These also include other sensors like ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer and IR blaster.
