Recruitment for 3,539 Posts
This recruitment drive was launched under Advertisement No. 01/2022 to fill a total of 3,539 Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts in aided secondary schools. The written examination was conducted on June 3 and 4, 2026. The Commission has now released the exam results. Merit List Released on Website
The Commission has made the subject-wise and category-wise shortlist of successful candidates available on its official website. Candidates numbering 1.5 times the available vacancies have been shortlisted for document verification. Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the merit list will be eligible to participate in the next stage of the recruitment process; however, final selection will be subject to document verification and the Commission's rules.

To view the result, candidates should first visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission at upessc.up.gov.in. Click on the 'UP TGT Result 2026' link provided on the homepage. A PDF containing the results will open. Press 'Ctrl+F' to search for your roll number. **Document verification begins on July 9**

Document verification will take place at the office of the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission, located at 23, Allenganj, Prayagraj. Specific dates have been scheduled for different subjects:
Document verification for Sanskrit candidates will be held on July 9, 2026.
Candidates for Mathematics will be called on July 10.
Verification for Physical Education, Music, Agriculture, Urdu, Home Science, and Commerce will take place on July 13.
Documents for Hindi candidates will be checked on July 14.
Verification for Biology and Science will be conducted on July 15.
Candidates for English will be called on July 16.
Document verification for Social Science and Art candidates will be completed on July 17, 2026.

The Commission has urged all successful candidates to appear for document verification with all their original documents at the time and date specified in their call letters. If a candidate fails to appear on the scheduled date, their claim will not be considered further.
