Actor Clarifies Misunderstanding

Actor Zeeshan Ayyub has addressed rumors regarding his voice being featured in the teaser for Ajay Devgn's upcoming film 'Chauhan', asserting that he is not associated with the project.

The announcement for 'Chauhan' was made public in June, showcasing Ayyub's voice initially, followed by Devgn's. However, about a month later, Ayyub clarified his non-involvement in the film, stating that his voice had been removed after he raised concerns.

**Zeeshan's Statement**
Without directly naming the film, Ayyub took to X to express, "Recently, a teaser was released featuring a line in my voice. I want to make it clear that I am not involved in this film at all. A few months back, I was asked to record a line without any context, which I did in good faith, knowing the producers personally."

**Removal of Voice from Teaser**
He further explained, "Once the teaser was out and I realized my voice was misused, I requested the producers to take it down, as I have no ties to the film. After my objection, they removed my voice from the teaser about fifteen days ago."

**Support for Students**
Ayyub emphasized, "This clarifies my position as an artist—I would never participate in such a project. Our primary focus should be on the current situation in the country, where brave young students are protesting. I salute their inspiring spirit. Jai Hind, Jai Samvidhan."

**Film's Context**
In the revised teaser for 'Chauhan', Ayyub's voice has been substituted with another actor's. The film narrates the tragic events of the Pulwama incident in Jammu & Kashmir from 2018, with Devgn portraying the lead role and delivering a voice-over about the killing of 30 protesters. Anand L. Rai directs the film.
