Anupam Kher Sends 5 Lakh Rupees to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund
Actor Anupam Kher has directly transferred 5 lakh rupees to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of Assam. In a video message released on social media, he expressed concern for the families left homeless and the animals stranded by the floods in the state.
Anupam Kher appealed to citizens, saying that the value of assistance is determined not by money, but by the intention to help. He urged people across the country to contribute to the relief efforts as per their capacity.
Salman Khan and Global Sikhs’ Project ‘Aashiyana’
Actor Salman Khan, through his organization and a network of local fan clubs, has initiated relief work on the ground. He launched Project ‘Aashiyana’ in collaboration with the non-governmental organization Global Sikhs. The project’s primary objective is to provide safe shelter and temporary housing to families whose homes have been washed away.
Relief teams in Shivsagar and surrounding areas are continuously delivering dry rations, drinking water, and essential medicines to affected families.
