Young people dreaming of a government job in the police department have a golden opportunity. Recruitment is underway in Uttar Pradesh to fill 32,379 vacant posts of Police Constable, and the last date to apply is January 30th. To fill out the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026 application form, first visit the official website.
On the website's homepage, click on the " Apply " link for Constable recruitment.
Then click on registration and complete the OTR (One Time Registration).
Now, log in and fill in the other details to complete the form.
Pay the prescribed fee according to your category and submit the form.
Application Fee
To participate in the recruitment, General, OBC, and EWS categories have to pay a fee of Rs. 500, while the fee for SC/ST is Rs. 400. The fee can be paid online.
Eligibility
To apply for Police Constable posts in UP, the candidate must have passed Class 12th from a recognized board/institution. It is also mandatory for the candidate to meet the prescribed age criteria. Recently, the UP government has given age relaxation to candidates of all categories. You can check below the age criteria to see which age group is eligible to apply for this recruitment.
Category-wise age criteria after age relaxation are as follows:
General Category/EWS
Male candidates must have been born between July 2, 2000, and July 1, 2007 (inclusive). The female candidate must not have been born before July 2, 1997, or after July 1, 2007.
Scheduled Caste (SC)
Male candidates must have been born between July 2, 1995, and July 1, 2007.
Female candidates must not have been born before July 2, 1992, or after July 1, 2007.
Scheduled Tribe (ST)
Male candidates must not have been born before July 2, 1995, or after July 1, 2007.
Female candidates must not have been born before July 2, 1992, or after July 1, 2007.
Other Backward Classes (OBC)
Male candidates must not have been born before July 2, 1995, or after July 1, 2007.
Female candidates must not have been born before July 2, 1992, or after July 1, 2007.
Uttar Pradesh State Government Employees
Male candidates must not have been born before July 2, 1995, or after July 1, 2007.
Female candidates must not have been born before July 2, 1992, or after July 1, 2007.
Ex-Servicemen of Uttar Pradesh
The age of male ex-servicemen, after deducting their period of service in the armed forces from their actual age, should not exceed the prescribed age limit by more than 3 years. Actual age - Service period = Resulting age (Resulting age should not have completed 28 years as of July 1, 2025)
Actual age - Service period = Resulting age (Resulting age should not have completed 31 years as of July 1, 2025)
