Train Cancelled: Every day, many people across the country rely on trains to travel from one city to another. However, sometimes trains are cancelled due to railway line expansion, maintenance, or new construction projects. Passengers may face temporary disruptions on some routes. A major rail project is currently underway in the Bilaspur Division of the South East Central Railway. A fourth railway line is being laid on the Bilaspur-Jharsuguda section of the Howrah-Mumbai main line. Due to this, several trains on this route have been diverted or cancelled in March and April. Passengers are requested to check their train status before departing.
Many Trains Cancelled in Chhattisgarh
Ongoing infrastructure work in the Bilaspur Division of the South East Central Railway has affected the operation of several trains passing through Chhattisgarh. According to railway officials, work on laying a fourth railway line on the Bilaspur-Jharsuguda section of the Howrah-Mumbai main line is progressing rapidly. Due to this major project, rail traffic has been disrupted for a few days. Raipur Railway Division Public Relations Officer Shiv Prasad stated that several trains have been diverted and some have been temporarily cancelled during this period.
